Terms for using Expense AI
These terms describe the rules and responsibilities that apply when you access or use Expense AI. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. The service
Expense AI is a personal finance organization tool for recording transactions, reviewing spending, tracking budgets and personal loans, exporting records, and asking questions about saved data. Features may be added, changed, limited, or discontinued as the service develops.
2. Account responsibility
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping your sign-in credentials secure, and all activity performed through your account. Do not share passwords or authentication codes with other people or enter them into transaction notes.
3. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with normal operation, bypass usage limits, upload malicious content, or use Expense AI for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity.
4. Your data
You retain responsibility for the financial information you enter. You give Expense AI permission to store and process that information only as needed to operate the requested features. Data handling is described in the Privacy Policy.
5. AI-generated results
Natural-language parsing and financial answers may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unavailable. Review transactions before relying on them and verify important totals against your original records. AI output is not professional advice.
6. Service availability
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. Continuous, error-free, or uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed. Access can be restricted when necessary for security, maintenance, abuse prevention, or legal compliance.
7. Account deletion
You may permanently delete your account from Settings. Deletion removes the account and associated application records and cannot be undone. Export any records you want to keep before confirming deletion.
8. Disclaimers and liability
Expense AI is not a bank, accountant, tax service, or financial adviser. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without warranties and is not responsible for decisions, losses, or damages caused by reliance on inaccurate entries, calculations, AI output, or unavailable service.
9. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the application changes. The revised date will be shown on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
